State University By means of geography, in the lessons of the initial years of basic education, we can find a way interesting to know the world, of recognizing in them as citizens and to be operating agents in the construction of the space where we live. our pupils need to learn to make the geographic analyses. to know its world, the place where they live, to be able to understand what they are the processes of social exclusion and the selectivity of the spaces. To understand place of the difference in this world, that if says and if it wants globalizado and it tends to homogeneizar to all and everything, is a step to perceive that still it has what to make, and not if it can, nor it needs, to be alone waiting that the said determination happen. He is curious to notice that, in the analyses and studies in general, until good little time, the determination happened basically of the nature. Today it is wanted to make to believe that the globalization defines everything, also the disrespect stops with the nature. To construct the basic referenciais for the space analysis is to have epistemolgica clarity of our science. E, to know to make a sensible education with learning to be subject of its life, is necessary to base the pedagogia epistemologicamente. To learn to read, learning to read the world of the life, and using for in such a way the metodolgicas possibilities of geography, is to intend that in this movement if it obtains to construct a methodology to study this curricular component, and also that the pupil obtains to use this metodolgico learning to study, beyond its lived space? the place where is? other places, that can be distant of its daily life, but that they are intervening...
